Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Oversee daily vessel operations for assigned MR tankers, including voyage planning, port operations, bunkering, and documentation.

Liaise with masters, agents, charterers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of voyages.

Monitor vessel performance, schedules, and costs to ensure operational efficiency and contractual compliance.

Handle pre-fixture and post-fixture operational matters, including laytime calculations and demurrage/despatch tracking.

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company operational standards.

Coordinate with technical and HSQE teams on vessel issues, incidents, and maintenance-related matters.

Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, or a related discipline.

Prior experience as a Shipping Operator / Vessel Operator handling MR tankers is essential.

Strong understanding of tanker operations, charter party terms, and voyage execution.

Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple vessels and stakeholders.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
