Job Description
Job Summary:
Support shipbrokers in managing daily operations, coordinating fixtures, and ensuring smooth communication between shipowners, charterers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist brokers in executing fixtures and follow-up on operational matters.
- Coordinate with shipowners, charterers, and agents on voyage details.
- Prepare and manage documentation related to Charter Party agreements.
- Monitor vessel schedules and cargo operations.
- Maintain records of fixtures and update internal systems.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the broking team within the Shipbroking market.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field.
- 2–4 years experience in shipbroking operations or shipping operations.
- Basic knowledge of chartering processes and shipping documentation.
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced shipping environment.
