Job Description

Duties

  • Oversee every element of technical upkeep, financial management, scheduling, and all safety considerations for the ships.
  • Oversee vessel upkeep schedules
  • Make sure ships adhere to the legal requirements for safety.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and carry out all tasks related to class and flag state as well as certificate obligations.
  • Oversee vessel performance and take prompt corrective measures when necessary.
  • Tasked with managing the budgets for designated vessels.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or higher in Maritime Studies or a related field.
  • Ideally, at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent.
  • COC Class 1 Accredited
  • Must have served as a Chief Engineer aboard vessels
