Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Service Engineering team, including field technicians, service engineers and contractors.

  • Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities for power generation / energy systems (include specific product line if needed).

  • Plan and coordinate service schedules, resource allocation, risk management and site evaluations.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise and technical guidance to customers, partners and internal teams.

  • Manage warranty claims, service contracts, spare parts planning and documentation.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and clear communication.

  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures, work safety processes, and service reporting structures.

  • Support sales teams on technical proposals, scopes of work, and tender documentation.

  • Track KPIs such as service quality, response time, cost efficiency and customer score metrics.

  • Train and upskill service engineers and technicians on product knowledge and safety systems.

  • Drive continuous improvement in after-sales performance and operational process optimization.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Power / Marine / Engineering or related discipline.

  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in service engineering, after-sales or technical support, preferably in power generation, rotating machinery, turbines, engine solutions, or heavy industrial equipment.

  • At least 3 years leading teams or service projects.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical understanding.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

  • Able to travel locally/regionally when required.
