Job Description
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and manage the Service Engineering team, including field technicians, service engineers and contractors.

Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities for power generation / energy systems (include specific product line if needed).

Plan and coordinate service schedules, resource allocation, risk management and site evaluations.

Provide subject-matter expertise and technical guidance to customers, partners and internal teams.
-
Manage warranty claims, service contracts, spare parts planning and documentation.
-
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and clear communication.

Develop and improve standard operating procedures, work safety processes, and service reporting structures.

Support sales teams on technical proposals, scopes of work, and tender documentation.

Track KPIs such as service quality, response time, cost efficiency and customer score metrics.

Train and upskill service engineers and technicians on product knowledge and safety systems.

Drive continuous improvement in after-sales performance and operational process optimization.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Power / Marine / Engineering or related discipline.
-
Minimum 6–10 years of experience in service engineering, after-sales or technical support, preferably in power generation, rotating machinery, turbines, engine solutions, or heavy industrial equipment.

At least 3 years leading teams or service projects.

Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on technical understanding.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
-
Able to travel locally/regionally when required.
