Job Description
• Lead, plan, and coordinate the deployment and scheduling of LSA / FFE service teams across multiple job sites to ensure optimal manpower utilization.
• Provide technical direction and oversight for the servicing of fire-fighting systems, life-saving appliances, lifeboats, and related equipment.
• Ensure service jobs are completed safely, accurately, and on time in compliance with SOPs, safety standards, and class or regulatory requirements.
• Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, manpower usage, and overtime costs to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Coach, mentor, and develop technicians to drive high standards of performance, competence, and safety culture.
• Oversee end-to-end service execution to deliver consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Act as a key point of contact for service enquiries, technical clarifications, and issue resolution with customers.
• Work closely with Sales and Order Processing teams to support smooth planning, coordination, and execution of service jobs.
• Review, verify, and approve service reports, technical documentation, and job closures for accuracy and completeness.
• Drive departmental KPIs, budget performance, and P&L results in line with business objectives.
• Review and optimize pricing strategies and service cost structures to improve margins and overall profitability.
• Identify and implement cost-efficiency initiatives while maintaining service quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Support service-related business development activities when required.
• Implement, review, and continuously improve service processes, workflows, and SOPs.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, class rules, and statutory requirements across all service activities.
• Review and approve risk assessments and safe work procedures prior to job execution.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and testing instruments are properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.
• Review monthly operational, manpower, and performance reports to track trends and areas for improvement.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, and spare parts sourcing to support timely and effective service delivery.
