Job Description
- Prepare the daily and monthly settlement operations on derivative deals.
- Reconcile Broker’s statement, related fees, and invoices. Follow up and resolve all discrepancies with Trader and/or Clearing Broker to ensure the correctness of Broker’s document.
- Review all necessary reconciliations arising from the related issues.
- Ensure all trade entries are recorded in system. Any discrepancy needs to be followed up and resolved.
- Monitor pricing risk in compliance with regulations and practices.
- Interpret risk data e.g. Profit and Loss, Value-at-Risk (maximum possible loss) and pricing exposures then analyze results.
- Reconcile, discuss, and confirm daily figures with front office and ensure no discrepancy.
- Publish daily and monthly risk reports for management and planning department.
- Reconcile the monthly report with information received from front office and accounting.
- Provide initial recommendations and/or solutions regarding the use of internal system to other front office users.
Job requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance) or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year of risk management experience in commodity trading
- Knowledge and good understanding of commodity trading.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Team player and excel in a fast-paced commodity trading environment
- Excellent communication skill
- Proven time management skill, able to multi-task and prioritize well based on business needs
- Strong analytical and logical approach to problem-solving
- Fast learner, demonstrate innovative thinking and digital mindset
- Strong quantitative skill and attention to detail.
