Job Description
Responsibilities
- Monitor pricing risk in compliance with the company’s regulations and practices.
- input data provided from front office to spreadsheet for calculation.
- interpret risk data e.g. P&L, Value-at Risk (maximum possible loss) and Pricing exposures then analyse results.
- Reconcile, discuss, and confirm daily figures with front office and ensure no discrepancy.
- Publish daily and monthly risk reports for management and planning department.
- Monitor, verify and proceed the daily paper settlement.
- provide initial recommendations and/or solutions regarding the use of internal system to other front office users.
- Guiding the team to work smoothly.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Business (Economics & Finance) are preferred or equivalent qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk management in commodities trading companies
- possess good working knowledge of commodity trading (especially O&G)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical skills
- Good attention to details
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and multi-tasks
- Logical thinking and fast learner
