Job Description
- An experienced Marine Electric Engineer is sought to work on DP Equipment Class 2 and 3 vessels, with a focus on conducting Failure Modes and Effects Analysis both as part of a team and independently.
- This individual will also be responsible for overseeing DP FMEA Proving Trials and Annual DP Trials as a third-party surveyor.
- They should be familiar with IMCA DP guidelines, as well as the requirements of Oil Majors, including ASOG development and implementation.
- The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting vessels in the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors, and should be open to taking on additional responsibilities, such as superintendency and project management of vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings.
- The position may require overseas and offshore travel, and the candidate should be analytical, results-oriented, resourceful, proactive, and capable of independent professional development.
