JOBSCOPE
- Develop and execute sales strategy for Singapore market, including tender & project participation and project opportunities
- Establish strong working relationship with Clients, Partners and prospects to gather market intel, potential clients and account management in order to achieve sales revenue
- Prepare quotations and contracts administrations
- Participate in collaborations with the regional offices to facilitate local business development efforts and initiatives
- Leverage on existing resources and information to acquire new businesses and ultimately converting them to actual business revenue
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to determine customer requirements, recommend solutions and ensure timely respond to clients on resolution/solutions
- Spearhead the planning of industry seminars and workshops, and deliver presentations at similar events
- Ensure constant engagement with customers for strategic planning and action plan discussions
- Establish robust commercial business growth plans to facilitate sales activities
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum university degree in engineering or other related fields
- At least 15 years of working experience with minimum 12 years in the merchant vessel industry
- At least 8 years of commercial/business development experience, dealing with merchant vessel owners and ship managers
- Proven track record in sales and business development achievements with merchant vessel owners and managers
- Good reputation and well-connected individual in the maritime sector
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate networking sessions, seminars and the ability to influence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure work environment
- Excellent network with regional shipbuilders, commercial vessel owners and ship managers
