Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your technical, operational and safety expertise to enhance risk selection capabilities
- Work closely with our claims and underwriting teams and our shipowner members to minimise claim numbers
- Provide expert advice and support to colleagues and members
- Lead impactful projects and deliver engaging training
- Forge strong relationships and build trust across the business and within the maritime industry
- Shape and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks
- Produce safety articles and presentations for members
Requirements:
- COC 1 holder with senior deck experience as a marine superintendent.
- Shore side experience in ship management or survey company
- Comfortable speaking in public
- Willing to travel
- Proactive, flexible and able to work autonomously
- IT literate with good working knowledge of MS Office 365
