Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Organizational Structure and Job Descriptions
  • Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows
  • Analyze and update job descriptions for office staff to ensure alignment between procedures and actual practice.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Policy Development and Implementation
  • Propose, develop, and implement comprehensive office policies, including (but not limited to:
  • Work from Home Policy
  • Loan Policies
  • Travel Allowance
  • Phone Benefits / Usage Policies                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Performance Management
  • Develop metrics to evaluate staff performance
  • Create and implement a performance-to-rewards system to identify and recognize high-performing staff                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Reporting and Analytics
  • Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to senior management, including:
  • Turnover rates
  • Employee satisfaction levels
  •  Compliance issues                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations
  • Experience in managing remote teams and implementing remote work policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Suite)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
