Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Organizational Structure and Job Descriptions
- Review and redesign organizational hierarchy, considering interdepartmental relationships and internal workflows
- Analyze and update job descriptions for office staff to ensure alignment between procedures and actual practice. Policy Development and Implementation
- Propose, develop, and implement comprehensive office policies, including (but not limited to:
- Work from Home Policy
- Loan Policies
- Travel Allowance
- Phone Benefits / Usage Policies Performance Management
- Develop metrics to evaluate staff performance
- Create and implement a performance-to-rewards system to identify and recognize high-performing staff Reporting and Analytics
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to senior management, including:
- Turnover rates
- Employee satisfaction levels
- Compliance issues Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations
- Experience in managing remote teams and implementing remote work policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office (Suite)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
