Job Description
Candidates should be willing and able to travel globally and relocate for work.
- Promote and implement round-trip planning for vessels across various regions.
- Uphold high safety standards for cargo stowage, prioritizing the safety of vessels, crew, and cargo.
- Maximize vessel utilization by ensuring safe operations and minimizing operational costs.
- Focus on efficient Stowage Planning.
- Take ownership of planning-related tasks for vessels under individual responsibility.
- Coordinate with terminals and vessel command to execute stowage plans and ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain close collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders, proactively addressing stowage-related matters.
- Assess the suitability of vessel deployment and intake based on vessel characteristics and trade requirements.
- Manage administrative tasks, including accurate system updates and maintaining records.
- Develop and regularly review Global Planning Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
- Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment, embracing an open and growth-oriented mindset.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in complex situations.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree, or higher qualification.
- Open to candidates with 1–3 years of unrelated work experience.
- Prior experience in stowage planning is advantageous.
- Familiarity with stowage planning tools is a plus.
