Job Description
Working for one of the World’s largest EPC Contractor, you will be part of a talented team to deliver some of the World’s most complex projects for offshore exploration & production facilities.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for providing oversight for all aspects of offshore structural engineering activities including the definition and design of offshore structural engineering analysis of facility jackets
- Manage talents (engineers and designers) within your team through engineering technical expertise
- Detailed engineering reviews for jackets to support the fabrication and construction phase of the project
- Prepare and review miscellaneous structural detailed design calculations such as structural connection design, weight control reports and code-based cathodic protection calculations
- Responsible for non-technical scopes including the preparation of design specifications, project proposals, man-hour distribution project schedule and progress monitoring
- Utilize offshore structural software such as SACS/STAADPro and other engineering software such as MatchCAD, ABAQUS/SESAM to ensure design efficiency
- Perform and review time domain dynamic analysis with application to random waveloads and boat impact on jacket structures
Requirement
- Minimum Engineering Degree in related field
- At least 10 years of working experience in the offshore industry doing engineering scope
- Experience in team management
- Good experience and knowledge in detailed engineering designs for offshore facility jackets
- Familiar with general oil & gas codes and class standards
