Job Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for cost estimation to prepare for project tenders
- Responsible for preparing costing structures aligned with tender requirements
- Responsible for the review of vendor quotations to ensure competitive pricing/project expenditure
- Compile and provide estimation build-up from foreign exchange, labor and material costs
- Prepare detailed costing sheet for approval
- Carry out risk assessments and identify critical items and equipment
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure compliance and timely delivery for submission
- Assist in project cash flow projections
- Key contracts management responsibilities such as budget monitoring, critical payments and invoices and buyers guarantee
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience with shipyard, focusing on commercial works, specifically with cost estimation
- Minimum Diploma/Degree qualification in engineering or related
