Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the overall freight coverage strategy for the company, ensuring optimal tonnage utilisation.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and opportunities for increasing operational efficiency and profitability.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cargo owners and brokers, to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Negotiate charter party agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and risk management protocols.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless execution of charters, including cargo loading, discharge, and logistical considerations.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding market conditions, fleet performance, and team accomplishments.
- Identify potential risks in chartering operations and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and industry standards within the chartering operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Preferably 8 years of working exposure or experience in deep sea chemical transportation.
