Job Description
Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization’s seafarer health and wellness program.

Develop strategic plans and lead the program rollout across both existing and new regions to enhance the organization’s brand visibility.

Support the Head of Seafarer Welfare & Industry Relations in planning and executing stakeholder engagement strategies, including brokers, members, and the broader maritime community, in collaboration with the Underwriting team.

Act as the main liaison for external stakeholders (e.g., brokers, members, clinics, and third-party administrators) for all program-related matters.

Prepare and deliver presentations to internal departments and external stakeholders on program progress, wellness initiatives, and other organizational efforts.

Manage the annual audit and accreditation process for partner clinics, in coordination with internal liaison officers and external service providers.

Provide support to Underwriting and Claims departments concerning the integration of the wellness program and its impact on coverage matters.

Conduct causation reviews and generate statistical reports for claims and wellness trends to support quarterly and annual business reviews.

Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the department’s annual budget and business plans.

Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop newsletters and promotional content for dissemination through the organization’s communication channels.

Provide feedback and oversight to internal transformation and IT teams for ongoing development and maintenance of digital tools (e.g., wellness portals or apps).

Participate in the planning and execution of departmental and organization-wide initiatives as required.
Requirements:

A solid background in the maritime or shipping industry, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

A Degree or Diploma in a maritime-related field or other relevant qualifications.

Experience in crewing or marine insurance is advantageous but not mandatory.

Strong presentation skills with the ability to prepare high-quality PowerPoint decks and confidently present to various stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external partners.

Strong organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
