Job Description

Role:

  • Execute waterborne movements and barge deliveries.
  • Coordinate vessel nominations and cargo declarations.
  • Optimize vessel scheduling and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Handle demurrage notifications.
  • Update cargo information in SAP.
  • Nominate inspectors and adhere to compliance policies.
  • Collaborate with other teams on operational matters.
  • Upload and maintain cargo shipment files.
  • Build and maintain relationships within the industry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Maritime Studies preferred.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of products and the ex-wharf market.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in scheduling ex-wharf operations.
  • Prior experience managing large fuel oil cargo movements across the Asia Pacific region is a plus.
  • Experience in tracking and managing terminal or Floating Storage Unit (FSU) inventories.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore Platt’s Oil Market, bunker fuel market, and fuel oil terminals in Asia.
  • Understanding of inspection procedures and cargo operations.
