Job Description

Position Overview

Drive revenue growth by securing new business and managing strategic accounts within the subsea, EPC, and renewable energy sectors. Responsible for the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and solution design to contract negotiation and client handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Acquisition: Proactively source, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across target markets, including EPC contractors, subsea operators, and the renewable energy sector.

  • Strategic Account Leadership: Formulate and implement detailed account strategies for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers (e.g., Project Directors, Procurement Heads).

  • Technical Solution Development: Lead the creation of winning, technically rigorous proposals for complex tenders (RFQ, RFP, ITT). Partner with technical experts to design comprehensive, end-to-end logistics solutions.

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and upcoming major projects to inform business development strategy.

  • Sales Pipeline Oversight: Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline within the company CRM, providing reliable revenue forecasts and progress reports against targets.

  • Contract Finalization: Lead negotiations to secure profitable, sustainable contracts that mitigate risk and adhere to company governance.

  • Primary Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition to operations teams upon project award.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in complex solution selling.

  • Established network and direct experience working within the subsea industry and/or with EPC contractors.

  • Expert knowledge of the project bid process, including managing multi-million dollar tender responses.

  • Strong technical grasp of logistics: INCOTERMS, air/ocean chartering, heavy-lift/OOG cargo, and customs compliance.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Existing relationships with major subsea players (e.g., TechnipFMC, Subsea7, Saipem, Oceaneering) and/or leading EPC firms.

  • Experience in logistics for offshore wind or other renewable energy projects.

  • Proficiency using CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
