Job Description

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the EPC contractor, subsea operator, and renewable energy markets.
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute strategic account plans for key targets, building long-term, relationships at senior levels (e.g., Project Directors, Logistics Managers, Procurement Heads).
  • Solution Selling: Lead the development of compelling, technically sound, and commercially competitive proposals and tenders (RFQ, RFP, ITT). Collaborate with technical teams to design end-to-end logistics solutions.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming major projects in the subsea and EPC sectors.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline using our CRM, accurately forecasting sales revenue and reporting on progress against targets.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring profitable and sustainable agreements that mitigate risk and align with company policies.
  • Client Representation: Act as the primary client interface during the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless handover to the operational project execution team upon contract award.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrable experience and an existing network within the subsea industry and/or with EPC contractors.
  • Deep understanding of the project bid process and experience managing complex, multi-million dollar tender responses.
  • Strong technical knowledge of logistics concepts: INCOTERMS, chartering (air/ocean), heavy-lift, OOG (Out-of-Gauge) cargo, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Existing relationships with key players in the subsea market (e.g., TechnipFMC, Subsea7, Saipem, Oceaneering) and/or major EPC firms.
  • Experience with logistics for offshore wind or other renewable energy projects is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
