Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will drive new business for a Maritime Accounting ERP platform, selling to shipowners, operators, and ship management companies. The role requires strong maritime industry knowledge and a systems/technical background, with the ability to translate accounting, financial, and operational requirements into effective digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

  • Develop new business within shipowners, operators, and ship managers

  • Conduct client discovery sessions focused on accounting, finance, and reporting workflows

  • Position ERP solutions covering:

    • Vessel & management accounting

    • AP/AR, billing, and financial reporting

    • Budgeting, cost control, and voyage / fleet profitability

  • Deliver solution demos and support proof-of-concepts

  • Build relationships with Finance Managers, CFOs, Technical and Operations teams

  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, and implementation teams

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in maritime sales or solutions consulting

  • Strong exposure to maritime accounting systems, ERP, or finance platforms

  • Background in Systems Engineering, IT, Marine Engineering, or Accounting-related systems

  • Solid understanding of shipping accounting and cost structures

  • Proven consultative / solution-selling experience
