Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for marine spare parts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.  
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations.
  • Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain detailed customer records.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Provide feedback on product performance and customer needs.
  • Work with the inventory department to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Provide input on stock forecasting.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in spare parts sales within the marine sector.
  • Strong understanding of engine systems and spare parts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
