Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and acquiring new customers, while growing existing accounts.
- Achieve and exceed targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth.
- Contribute to regional business strategy, market planning, and annual business cycles.
- Deliver value-added customer service and tailor innovative lubricant solutions to meet client needs.
- Create and implement detailed account plans for current and potential customers and distributors.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance commentaries, and activity reports.
- Manage accounts and credit processes in line with contractual terms and company policies.
- Collaborate with the technical services team to provide customer support and advice.
- Gather and leverage market intelligence to keep management informed of trends, competition, and customer sentiment.
- Monitor regional budgets and ensure financial targets and controls are met.
- Track customer feedback to enhance satisfaction while maximizing profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with company HSSEQ, ethical standards, and internal procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime studies, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably within the marine, lubricants, or related industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Results-driven with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable about current market trends and competitive business strategies.
- Familiarity with marine lubricants and supply chain operations is an advantage.
- Strong business acumen and excellent presentation skills.
- Valid Class 3 Singapore Driver’s License (local travel required).
- Willingness to travel regionally for business and client meetings.
- Able to work from our Tuas office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin or Hindi is highly preferred.
