Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying and acquiring new customers, while growing existing accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth.
  • Contribute to regional business strategy, market planning, and annual business cycles.
  • Deliver value-added customer service and tailor innovative lubricant solutions to meet client needs.
  • Create and implement detailed account plans for current and potential customers and distributors.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance commentaries, and activity reports.
  • Manage accounts and credit processes in line with contractual terms and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the technical services team to provide customer support and advice.
  • Gather and leverage market intelligence to keep management informed of trends, competition, and customer sentiment.
  • Monitor regional budgets and ensure financial targets and controls are met.
  • Track customer feedback to enhance satisfaction while maximizing profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with company HSSEQ, ethical standards, and internal procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime studies, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably within the marine, lubricants, or related industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Results-driven with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable about current market trends and competitive business strategies.
  • Familiarity with marine lubricants and supply chain operations is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent presentation skills.
  • Valid Class 3 Singapore Driver’s License (local travel required).
  • Willingness to travel regionally for business and client meetings.
  • Able to work from our Tuas office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in Mandarin or Hindi is highly preferred.
