Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager – Southeast Asia (based in Singapore), this role focuses on expanding the Southeast Asia market and supporting future business growth. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline of customers and developing long-term, value-driven relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and prospective customers to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets

  • Contribute to regional sales strategy, market planning, and business development initiatives

  • Deliver value-added customer solutions and maintain high service standards

  • Develop and execute account plans for customers and distributors

  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity plans, and regular reporting

  • Manage accounts and credit procedures in line with contractual and internal guidelines

  • Work closely with technical teams to provide product and technical support to customers

  • Gather and share market intelligence on customer demand, competitor activity, and pricing trends

  • Monitor budgets to ensure financial targets and controls are met

  • Track customer feedback to improve satisfaction and maximise profitability

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, HSSEQ standards, and ethical guidelines

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline

  • 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably within the marine or related industry

  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

  • Good understanding of market dynamics and business development strategies

  • Knowledge of marine lubricants or related supply chains is an advantage

  • Strong commercial acumen with confident presentation skills

  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required

  • Comfortable working in Tuas
