Job Description

Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Proactively source, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities across target markets, including EPC contractors, subsea operators, and the renewable energy sector.

Strategic Account Leadership: Formulate and implement detailed account strategies for key clients, fostering long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers (e.g., Project Directors, Procurement Heads).

Technical Solution Development: Lead the creation of winning, technically rigorous proposals for complex tenders (RFQ, RFP, ITT). Partner with technical experts to design comprehensive, end-to-end logistics solutions.

Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and upcoming major projects to inform business development strategy.

Sales Pipeline Oversight: Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline within the company CRM, providing reliable revenue forecasts and progress reports against targets.

Contract Finalization: Lead negotiations to secure profitable, sustainable contracts that mitigate risk and adhere to company governance.

Primary Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition to operations teams upon project award.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record in complex solution selling.

Established network and direct experience working within the subsea industry and/or with EPC contractors.

Expert knowledge of the project bid process, including managing multi-million dollar tender responses.

Strong technical grasp of logistics: INCOTERMS, air/ocean chartering, heavy-lift/OOG cargo, and customs compliance.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills.

Preferred:

Existing relationships with major subsea players (e.g., TechnipFMC, Subsea7, Saipem, Oceaneering) and/or leading EPC firms.

Experience in logistics for offshore wind or other renewable energy projects.

Proficiency using CRM platforms, such as Salesforce.
