Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and marketing efforts for newbuild ship design and construction in line with company strategy.
- Engage with shipowners and operators to understand their commercial and technical requirements while presenting design proposals.
- Collaborate with the in-house design team on various design and engineering aspects.
- Source and request quotations from suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, classification societies, and regulatory authorities on project-specific and general matters.
- Prepare commercial documentation, including quotations, for new shipbuilding project bids.
- Develop sales and marketing reports and presentations as required.
Requirements:
- Strong enthusiasm and a keen interest in the maritime industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Shipbuilding, or Marine Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the shipbuilding or marine industry.
- Solid understanding of operational and technical requirements for Renewable & Offshore Specialized Vessels or other relevant offshore vessel categories.
- Basic knowledge of marine equipment, ship systems, and their functions.
- Proactive, well-organized, and systematic approach to work.
- Proficient and fluent communication skills.
