Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth by generating revenue from existing and new customers across targeted markets. Manage all direct sales channels and bid activities to meet business objectives.
- Provide key customer insights to the Product team to improve understanding of client needs and market trends.
- Engage with clients to promote and sell company products, achieve sales goals, develop new opportunities, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to support revenue growth, retention, and new business development.
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring open communication and identifying areas where the company can add value.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, ask insightful questions, and address client concerns effectively.
- Represent the company at meetings and industry events to enhance visibility, gather market intelligence, and strengthen brand reputation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions and proposals that align with client requirements, and negotiate within approved terms.
- Act as a customer advocate within the organization to ensure satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline, with at least five years of experience in marine sales or a similar field.
- Strong understanding and network within the maritime industry.
- Proven experience in technical product sales and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach.
- Able to prioritize effectively and work across teams to achieve business objectives.
