Objectives of this role
- Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
- Train, motivate, and advise our sales team.
- Achieve company objectives by planning effectively, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance
- Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
- Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base and extends global reach
- Meet with customers and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs
- Track, analyse, and communicate key business trends as they relate to partners and clients
- Train and coach, and monitor performance of sales team to ensure that assigned tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fill them
- Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with sales team to set objectives for the day and to monitor progress
- Tracking and analysing sales statistics
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Review pricing
Skills and qualifications
- Five or more years of managing commercial sales
- Proven record of success with the entire sales cycle, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Some offshore technical experience with commercial diving operations preferred
- General understanding of Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge / Experience in SAP Business One ERP System would be an added advantage
Preferred qualifications
- Business or Engineering / Technician qualifications
