Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with key maritime clients and stakeholders using technical expertise.
  • Design and implement targeted marketing and sales initiatives to support business growth.
  • Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to strengthen market positioning.
  • Drive strategic projects aimed at expanding market share and enhancing brand recognition.
  • Oversee and develop the marketing and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure sales and marketing plans support business objectives.
  • Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, and client meetings.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Studies, Shipping, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 to 25 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry, ideally with seafaring roles such as Master, Chief Mate, Chief Engineer, Superintendent, or Supercargo. (Role seniority will correspond to experience level)
  • Extensive industry connections with a strong professional reputation.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and project coordination skills.
  • Self-driven, performance-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proven onboard maritime background with leadership experience in a B2B marine setting.
  • Experience in commercial sales and/or business development roles.
