Job Description

Responsibilities:

Lead the company’s commercial growth by designing and executing effective sales strategies, nurturing key customer relationships, and driving revenue performance. The Sales Manager will be central to developing the company’s sales capabilities, spotting new market opportunities, and reinforcing the company’s reputation as a trusted player in container shipping and logistics.

  1. Create and implement sales plans to meet revenue and market share objectives.

  2. Identify, target, and win new customers, trade lanes, and shipping routes.

  3. Oversee the full sales process, from prospecting and proposals to negotiation and deal closure.

  4. Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, NVOCCs, and major accounts.

  5. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and provide insights on market trends.

  6. Work closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

  7. Support marketing activities, digital campaigns, and brand development initiatives.

  8. Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team as the business grows.

  9. Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related discipline.

  • 5–8 years of sales experience in container shipping, NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics.

  • 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

  • Proven record of surpassing revenue targets and successfully securing new business.
