Job Description

Role:

  • Become a strong face of the company presence, firstly in Singapore and eventually across the entire APAC region.
  • Develop accurate strategies and fast solutions, bringing a fresh perspective to secure new long-term customers.
  • Drive sales growth.
  • Conduct marketing activities, participate in marine-related events, and represent the company at exhibitions, fairs, and similar industry gatherings.
  • Expand professional network.
  • Enhance brand awareness.
  • Build and manage a sales team.
  • Develop creative projects to expand the business.
  • Visit existing and potential customers on a regular basis.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales within the Singapore marine industry.
  • Strong contacts and established relationships with technical superintendents, technical departments, purchasing departments, and operations departments.
  • Robust network with ship management companies, charterer companies, shipowners, etc.
  • Confident in selling consumable products and chemicals.
  • Ability to convince customers by presenting unique perspectives and effectively managing perceptions.
  • Outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and self-motivate.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience in chemicals is an advantage.
  • Able to thrive in a self-starting environment, driven by results.
