Position Overview
Accountable for promoting service sales associated with marine engine repairs, refurbishments, on-site machining, and technical services. The position emphasizes building client relationships with shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards while promoting revenue expansion.
Main Duties
- Recognize and cultivate fresh business prospects in marine repair services.
- Market service offerings (engine rebuilds, on-site machining, turbocharger services, etc.)
- Draft and present technical and business proposals.
- Perform client meetings, vessel oversight, and site assessments.
- Foster robust connections with shipowners, technical managers, and shipyards.
- Negotiate agreements and finalize sales transactions.
- Work together with technical teams to guarantee precise job scoping.
- Observe industry trends and competitors\’ actions.
- Meet sales goals and key performance indicators.
Specifications
- Bachelor\’s in Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification.
- Experience navigating as a Marine Engineer OR
- At least 3–5 years in marine services sales.
Skills
- Solid technical knowledge of marine engines and support systems.
- Focused on sales with outstanding negotiation and communication abilities
- Capability to interpret technical blueprints and specifications
- Client-oriented with robust relationship management
- Skilled in MS Office and CRM applications
Qualifications
