Job Description
Summary: You play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management and delivery of construction and field development activities for subsea installation projects. You are responsible for the developing and strengthen the organization’s Engineering, Projects and Operations team capabilities, aligned with business goals and commercial risks.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead and lead the acquisition and execution of APAC projects
- Play a consistent leadership role in all phases of the project starting from engineering, construction to installation
- Ensure timely service/project delivery in accordance with Client and Company’s requirement within budget and safety standards
- Identify, prevent/mitigate relevant project risks (including commercial)
- Oversee Quality Assurance works performed by b the project team to ensure compliance in quality standards and alignment with Company policies
- Work closely with line manager for updates on key issues and challenges and find solutions to overcome them
- Manage contractual issues arising with Clients and Sub-Contractors
- Deliver target revenue and EBITDA from new project activities
- Work closely with the Proposal Manager on project budgets, costs, cashflow and margins
- Provide accurate input for monthly forecasting and financial reporting
- Ensure effective utilization of the ERP system (Navision)
- Liaise directly with Clients and regional finance team to ensure all technical enquiries on sales invoices are resolved and credit terms are followed up closely
- Understand projects P&L and basic business finance relating to gross margin, percentages, depreciation, capital, revenue expenditures, cashflow and overheads
- Assist in tender submissions as required with the Proposal Manager
- Provide expertise in technical and commercial issues to ensure maximum conversion ratio from quotes to orders
Requirements
- Minimum Engineering Degree/Naval Architecture or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in offshore installation/decommissioning of offshore facilities
- Experience in at least 3 floater projects relating to installation/decommissioning
- Project management experience in the oil & gas industry
- Competency as MS Office Suite User and Microsoft Project
- Effective communication and leadership skills
