Job Description
Experienced Specialist for our Propeller Repair & Reconditioning Workshop based in Singapore. This is a permanent role ideal for a technical professional skilled in advanced propeller restoration, mentoring, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct specialized repair, reconditioning, and balancing of marine propellers using advanced welding, re-pitching, and finishing techniques
- Restore propellers to original or enhanced specifications, ensuring performance, durability, and compliance
- Work closely with clients to assess needs and deliver tailored repair solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repair processes for quality tracking and compliance
- Guide and train team members in propeller maintenance, repair methods, and safety practices
- Stay current with industry advancements in repair technologies, materials, and methods
- Support regional technical teams with onsite diagnostics and performance analysis when required
- Uphold workshop safety, environmental, and operational standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes, tools, and team capabilities
