Roles & Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision and management of workers and sub-contractors related to piping related works done at site.
- Set clear direction to lead, drive and motivate the team towards achieving common daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Contribute operations information and recommendation to strategic plans and reviews
- Prepare and complete action plans, implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards
- Establish, maintain and enforce safe and healthy work environment protocols for all site works
- Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Develop and maintain viable long-term relationship with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in the marine industry
- At least 4 years of working experience in fabrication/shipyard environment
- Excellent communicator and exemplary leadership quality
- Proven track-record in team management for project execution
- Sound knowledge and qualification in NDT techniques (ASNT, CSWIP, ERS or equivalent)
- Knowledgeable in international Codes & Standards (ASME, AWS, ASTM, API…)
- Knowledge in ISO 90001 and OHSAS 18001 Management System
- Extensive travelling may be required for the position
- Prior experience in setting up an office or department is a plus.
