Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Over see installation and engineering of marine fire safety systems.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from start to finish.
- Serve as the main technical contact for clients, suppliers, and classification societies (like ABS, DNV).
- Ensure all designs and installations meet strict international safety standards (SOLAS, IMO).
- Support system testing, commissioning, and installation at shipyards (some travel required).
- Prepare and approve technical documents, drawings, and manuals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in marine, offshore, or fire protection.
- Strong technical skills and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Direct experience with marine firefighting systems.
- Knowledge of marine industry rules and regulations.
