Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support and manage marine engineering projects from kick-off through delivery, including planning, coordination, execution, and close-out.

• Assist in project scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination with internal engineering teams, shipyards, vendors, and subcontractors.

• Coordinate technical interfaces between electrical, mechanical, automation, and marine systems for hybrid, electric, and energy-efficient vessel solutions.

• Work closely with shipyards, designers, and classification societies to ensure project requirements, specifications, and compliance standards are met.

• Monitor project costs, timelines, risks, and deliverables, escalating issues where required.

• Support procurement activities including vendor coordination, technical clarifications, and delivery tracking.

• Attend project meetings with clients, shipyards, and partners, and prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

• Support commissioning, testing, sea trials, and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery.

• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide post-delivery support, including warranty coordination and defect rectification where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in marine projects, shipbuilding, ship repair, offshore, or marine engineering environments.

• Basic understanding of marine systems, vessel construction, and shipyard operations.

• Experience supporting project management activities such as scheduling, coordination, documentation, and progress tracking.

• Familiarity with classification society requirements and marine regulatory frameworks is an advantage.

• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a project-driven environment.

• Willingness to work at shipyards and attend site activities as required.
