Job Description
Perform IT Project Evaluation, Design, and Network Drawings:
- Conduct in-depth evaluations of IT project requirements.
- Design detailed network layouts and schematics to fulfill project specifications.
Implement Small Scale Server Infrastructure in a Maritime Environment:
- Set up and manage server infrastructure including servers, firewalls, VDI, virtualization, and UTM.
- Ensure secure and robust network implementations aboard maritime vessels.
Prepare Documentation:
- Create detailed design specifications, user manuals, and cost overviews.
- Maintain accurate records to support project budgeting and tracking.
Deliver Project Deliverables and Complete Milestones on Schedule:
- Ensure all project deliverables are met on time.
- Manage project milestones effectively to guarantee timely completion.
Role:
- Experience in Project Implementation and Deployment of Server-Based Infrastructure:
- Proven track record of managing IT projects in a maritime or similar environment.
- Knowledge in VDI, Firewall, UTM, Virtualization:
- Technical expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), firewalls, Unified Threat Management (UTM), and virtualization technologies.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge is an Advantage:
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to ensure secure IT operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in IT project management or network administration are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Full-time commitment level.
