Job Description
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the technical design-management and coordination of electrical system research & development, overall design, conceptual design, (pre-) FEED and detailed design process of marine & offshore projects
- Provide technical solutions reliability and security of the project, and be able to evaluate and make major decisions on technical solutions
- Responsible for correspondences and coordination with Clients and classification societies
- Guide and train engineers to improve their design capabilities and lay strong foundation for the team to complete project design tasks with high quality and efficiency
- Lead technical/feasibility analysis discussions and oversee the execution of innovative measures/implementations for technical issues
- Responsible for leading critical electrical selection process
- Responsible for providing guidance and review of electrical equipment procurement specifications and agreements with suppliers
Requirements
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience in the marine & offshore industry
- Strong knowledge and subject matter expert in FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering works for electrical discipline
- Completed at least 2 full-cycle EPC projects for FPSO, FLNG, FSRU or LNGC facilities
- Good knowledge with marine industry standards, classification society rules, IEC, API, ISA and other international design reference standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, AVEMA Marine and ETAP skill is essential
- Strong communication skills in both Mandarin and English
