Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Handle post-fixture operations for chemical tanker voyages
- Liaise with charterers, brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders on voyage execution
- Prepare and review voyage instructions, stowage plans, and cargo details
- Monitor vessel performance, schedules, and port operations
- Manage laytime calculations and support demurrage/despatch handling
- Ensure compliance with charter party terms and operational requirements
- Coordinate bunkering, port calls, and cargo operations
- Resolve operational issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in tanker operations/post-fixture
- Prior exposure to chemical tankers is preferred
- Good understanding of charter parties, laytime, and demurrage
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
