Responsibilities
- Create and refine PLC software and algorithms for electric propulsion systems
- Produce comprehensive documentation including software architecture, logical flow, testing procedures and quality control measures
- Assist in the commissioning process of vessels with similar configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments during the commissioning phase
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering
- At least 5 years of working experience in relevant field
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Hands-on approach and a collaborative team player
- Excellent communication skills for effective engagement with external stakeholders
- Knowledge in power electronics, motor drives and marine propulsion systems
