Job Description
Responsibilities
- Create detailed schematics for piping systems according to specifications
- Work closely with project enigneers and other professionals to ensure accuracy and functionality of designs
- Use computer-aided design software to generate digital models of piping systems
- Inspect existing piping systems, structures and component to make alterations or revisions
- Conduct calculations related to pressure, flow rate and material stress factors
- Review industry standards and regulations to ensure design compliance
- Prepare reports detailing system specifications, material needs and project timelines
- Coordinate with construction and project team to ensure accurate and timeliny project execution and completion
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of working experience as a piping drafter or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software, especially in AutoCAD
- Detailed understanding of mechanical and construciton processes
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
