Role Overview
An exciting opportunity for a commercially driven and proactive professional to support partnership growth initiatives within the maritime and sustainability space. This role is responsible for identifying strategic partnership opportunities, managing stakeholder engagement, supporting program execution, and contributing to business development efforts.
The ideal candidate has experience within the maritime sector, understands industry dynamics and sustainability trends, and is confident managing relationships across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and industry research to identify potential organizations aligned with partnership objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with prospective partners while effectively communicating program value propositions.
- Drive partnership discussions and support the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Support onboarding activities and maintain strong relationships with existing partners.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
- Prepare reports, presentations, case studies, and internal updates for management and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, partnership activities, and stakeholder engagement using CRM systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, sustainability, and operations to ensure alignment on partnership initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, innovation developments, competitor activities, and emerging technologies relevant to the maritime sector.
- Support marketing initiatives through preparation of event materials, partnership content, and promotional collateral.
- Provide operational and administrative support for ongoing partnership programs and activities.
- Adapt to changing priorities and contribute proactively across various business initiatives as required.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience within the maritime industry, preferably in partnerships, business development, or commercial roles.
- Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management capabilities with the ability to initiate and close business opportunities.
- Good understanding of customer engagement strategies and commercial value propositions.
- Familiarity with maritime industry trends, sustainability initiatives, and innovation developments.
- Strong communication, research, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic and collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
