Job Description
Direct Search Global is partnering one of the region’s fastest growing offshore vessel owner to fill a position for Paralegal at their office in Singapore Requirements for the position as follow:
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking and monitoring legislations that impact the Company’s products and services and/or operating processes
- Update the management with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation/regulations affecting the business
- Assist in the implementation of changes to business contracts to comply with legislation/regulations and to protect the Company’s interest
- Responsible for providing support related to litigation, mediation, arbitration and responses to complaints
- Review and maintain critical licenses for the Company to ensure legislation compliance
- Draft, file and manage business entity documents for corporations and state agencies
- Draft legal contracts, correspondences and other business related documents
- Create organizational documents in relation to incorporation, dissolution and/or merger/collaboration agreements
- Review of employment contracts, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements to protect the Company’s interest
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Law
- At least 3 years of working experience in similar field
- Candidates with experience in the marine & offshore sector will have added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb attention to details, as well as organizational and multi-tasking ability
