  • Supervise daily ship activities, guaranteeing effectiveness, security, and adherence to regulations.
  • Oversee voyage planning, scheduling, and collaboration with chartering and port representatives.
  • Track ship efficiency, fuel usage, and operational expenses.
  • Guarantee adherence to maritime regulations (IMO, ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS)
  • Collaborate with technical, crewing, and commercial teams.
  • Manage incident reporting, risk evaluations, and operational problem-solving.
  • Foster robust connections with clients, port officials, and stakeholders.
  • Guide and cultivate the operations team to achieve KPIs and organizational goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in marine/vessel operations or the shipping sector.
  • Deep understanding of tanker, bulk, or offshore ship operations
  • Knowledge of global maritime laws and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Expertise in journey enhancement and expense management.
  • Robust leadership abilities and effective team management skills
  • Outstanding skills in coordination and communication
  • Capability to function under stress and tackle operational difficulties.
  • Expertise in marine systems/software (e.g., journey management tools)
