Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of multiple tankers in coordination with the Chartering and internal ship management teams.
- Maintain communication with charterers, brokers, agents, and vessels on voyage instructions and itineraries.
- Ensure adherence to charter party terms, oversee agency appointments, and process relevant shipping documentation.
- Review vessel stowage and tank cleaning plans in consultation with the Head of Operations.
- Coordinate with masters, owners, and agents, providing instructions for cargo loading, discharging, and stowage.
- Oversee cargo operations and prepare related documentation.
- Provide regular updates to the Head of Operations on ongoing activities.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma qualification.
- Open to fresh graduates; 1–2 years of tanker operations experience will be an advantage.
- Independent, responsible, and able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.
- Flexible with working hours and willing to be on standby when necessary.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
