Job Description
Vessel Dispatch, Planning & Scheduling:
Develop and manage both short-term and long-term vessel schedules aligned with operational requirements.
Ensure optimal deployment of vessels and equipment to deliver reliable and cost-efficient services.
Resource Coordination & Liaison:
Coordinate with Account Managers to oversee vessel resources and operational support. Maintain effective communication to guarantee consistent and uninterrupted operations.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Manage a 12-member workboat operations team, including 4 crew, 2 engineers, and 6 ROV operators. Provide direction, delegate responsibilities, monitor output, and ensure objectives are met.
Workboat & Crew Coordination:
Engage regularly with workboat captains and crew to share job schedules, deployment timelines, and task priorities. Ensure teams are prepared and operations proceed smoothly on water.
Technical & Engineering Support:
Work with onboard engineers and ROV personnel to secure equipment readiness, implement preventive maintenance, and provide technical assistance for underwater projects and inspections.
Real-Time Monitoring & Efficiency Tracking:
Oversee vessel status and performance in real time. Deliver timely updates, identify bottlenecks, and support initiatives to enhance efficiency and turnaround.
Diver Team Liaison:
Act as the key point of contact for internal and external diver teams. Coordinate joint tasks, enforce safety standards, and align schedules to enable smooth execution of underwater work.
Operational Monitoring & Reporting:
Supervise vessel operations and activities continuously. Troubleshoot issues promptly, report progress to management, and compile detailed weekly and monthly operational reports.
Exception & Risk Management:
Respond quickly to operational challenges including manpower shortages, weather disruptions, or compliance restrictions. Activate contingency measures to maintain service continuity.
Routine Administrative Duties:
Handle administrative responsibilities such as documentation, insurance, inspections, supply management, and vessel performance tracking. Ensure compliance with Singapore port and maritime regulations.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
Prepare accurate weekly and monthly operational reports. Collect and analyze performance data to support continuous improvement and assist in management decisions.
