Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Accommodation and E-House HVAC engineering deliverables i.e. block diagram, basis of design, design philosophy
  • Review vendor proposals for E-House HVAC system.
    • Produce process flow diagram (PFD) for marine systems e.g. liquefied CO2 system, seawater lift system, water cooling system, potable and freshwater system, water ballast system, sewage system, power generation system
  • Prepare technical specifications & datasheets for liquefied CO2 storage tank, liquefied CO2 transfer pump, loading hose & hose reel, emergency generator.
  • Involve in liquefied CO2 storage tank design and tank volume calculation.
  • Involve in project and proposal support, by developing design related to marine systems, for new-built systems
  • Manage discipline documents / activities based on project execution plans
  • FEED and EPC engineering on Marine system including project safety study e.g. HAZOP, HAZID
  • Conduct engineering activities such as P&IDs, datasheets, calculations and philosophies
  • Prepare various reports inc. SAFE chart, SIF design report, HP / LP interface report
  • Manage AVEVA engineering data and Diagram
  • Review operation manuals
  • Develop PFDs & HYSYS modeling
  • Develop overall philosophy for cGH2 / LOHC
  • Responsible for typical / detail engineering on LNG cargo handling and offloading system
  • Develop calculation report / functional philosophy / diagrams on LNG cargo handling system
  • Primary focal point to manage marine equipment packages on technical issues and interface matters, including manage technical queries, engineering interface, attend kick-off/ progress/ pre-inspection meetings, follow up equipment fabrication, attend testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of experience working in Marine & Offshore EPC projects
  • At least 8 years in senior engineering role with team management experience
  • Competed at least 2 full-cycle EPC projects for offshore E&P production facilities
  • Candidates with experience in overseas projects/assignments will have added advantage
  • Marine System Knowledge: Familiar with international codes and standards (ASME, IMO, MARPOL); Involve in detailed design engineering and produce marine system engineering deliverables i.e. basis of design, design philosophy, calculation, datasheet, technical specification, piping and instrumentation diagram
