Job Description
As a Marine Surveyor, you will be required to carry out surveys/audits and inspections to meet the requirements of classification rules, instructions, guidelines and meet statutory requirements. Being the expert advisor for classification and statutory certifications, you will carry out regular unscheduled inspections based on authorization from classification societies to maintain the standards for quality and safety.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle clients with technical needs in relation to vessel surveys and relevant certifications.
- Support and provide close follow-up of with administration and coordination of survey activities
- Arrange and coordinate works concerning technical documents related to vessel registration
- Â Work closely with accounting department concerning quotations and trips for safety purposes
- Submission and filling of technical reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Education – Graduate in Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineer with COC –Class I
- Specialized knowledge – Ship Survey/New Construction Inspection
- Skills- Good Communication Skills, Understanding of Classification and Statutory Regulations
- Experience – 3-5 Years of experience in Survey of Ships from recognized Class Society/New Construction supervision
