Job Description
• Uphold rigorous safety and pollution prevention standards in vessel operations by effectively implementing company policies regarding Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality Assurance (HSEQA).
• Stay informed about international regulations and legal requirements pertaining to marine operations, ensuring that assigned vessels comply with these standards.
• Execute activities related to Port State Control (PSC) compliance, navigation, cargo operations, and loss prevention and claims handling, overseeing the entire process from planning to implementation.
• Ensure the safety of cargo operations, navigation, and vessel transit through high-risk areas by maintaining close communication with assigned vessels.
• Periodically conduct Sailing Navigation Audits and Internal HSEQA Audits for vessels.
• Strategize, execute, and ensure the resolution of issues related to marine operational matters, collaborating closely with the Technical Department.
• Investigate incidents related to vessel marine operations as needed.
• Possess expertise in tanker docking and handling aspects such as hull, navigation, cargo equipment, and deck machineries.
Requirements:
• Class 1 CoC Master Mariner license
• Sailed as at least 12 months as a Master onboard oil/chem tanker.
