Job Description
– Supervision and monitoring of the maritime operations of the designated vessels in the PCTC fleet are required.
– Ensuring compliance with ISM, ISPS, ISO, the company’s SMS, flag state regulations, and international regulatory mandates is essential.
– The provision of maritime guidance and advice to technical superintendents is part of the role.
– Strict adherence to vessel audit plans, whether they are internal or external, is mandatory.
– Conducting regular audits of vessel compliance with ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO standards is a fundamental task.
Requirements:
– A minimum qualification of a Master Mariner with prior seagoing experience on PCTC vessels is necessary.
– A strong understanding of regulatory and class requirements, as well as international standards, is expected.
– Certification or eligibility for conducting internal vessel audits is a prerequisite.
– Proficiency in ISM, ISPS, MLC, and ISO codes is essential.
